Welcome to Closing Coins, our way of celebrating every deal you close and one more reason to be in the room at our sales meetings. Here's how it works.
Every time you close a transaction, you earn one Canal & Main Closing Coin, one per closing, through your own personal production. Coins are distributed to you in person at the sales meeting, so that's where the fun happens.
Because coins are handed out and played at the meeting, you have to be there. You can collect and play the coins you've earned no later than your next home-office sales meeting. Any coins you've earned but don't claim by then are forfeited. This is your nudge to be in the room.
At the meeting, you'll drop your coins in the gumball machine. Out pops a prize ball with a slip inside, and it's one of two things, both good news: an instant gift, or a points slip.
Some slips are instant gift cards, like Target or Amazon, in a set dollar amount. Scan the QR code on the slip, fill out the quick form, and we'll get your gift card to you.
Other slips have a points code on them, something like P50-K2MP. Points are how you save toward the bigger prizes on the shelf. Head to your Closing Coin Dashboard, sign in with your Canal & Main Google account, and enter the exact code from your slip. Your points are added to your account automatically.
A few things to know about your code: enter it exactly as printed. Each code works only once, and it's tied to you the moment you claim it. Coins, codes, and points are earned through your own production and are non-transferable, so they cannot be shared with or given to another agent.
Here's where it gets fun. Once points are on your account, you don't have to spend them right away. Bank them and climb toward the bigger prizes on the shelf. The more you save, the better the reward. Watch your balance grow on your dashboard and keep an eye on how close you are to the item you've been eyeing. New prizes are added throughout the year, so the shelf stays fresh.
When you have enough points, redeem a shelf item right from your dashboard. Your points come off your balance, and you'll pick up your prize at a meeting.
Your coins are claimed and played at the meeting, but the points you bank last all year, until December 31, when balances reset to zero. So spend your points before year-end. We'll remind you as the date gets close and keep the shelf stocked so you never lose points you earned.
